11th June 2006 vs Tintern @
Tintern
The first time we have played at Tintern (due to previous
arrangements falling foul to the weather) - a glorious setting
- with the Abbey as a backdrop. The wicket slightly less attractive
due to regular car boot sales held on the square every Saturday.
Given the setting, Goughy went all 'arty' again with the camera...so
if you see what seems to be random shots of Casuals wearing
sun glasses - look a little more closely and you should just
be able to make out a lot of fat men in white in the reflection....
Another good game, and we also drew a bit of a crowd - well
people who had become fed up with wandering around the Abbey...they
soon returned to the roofless church. Must warn you about
the match report...done by Steveo (who was obviously bored
the day he wrote it, probably due to still being jobless....
